APPRENTICESHIP AT 42 LE HAVRE
New Feature at 42 Le Havre: The Opportunity to Gain Valuable Professional Experience During Your Training Curriculum.

THE WORK-STUDY PROGRAM CURRICULUM
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The work-study program corresponds to the second part of the curriculum.
To access it, students must first have completed the first part, called the “Common Core.” When they begin their work-study program, this means they will have already completed 29 development projects and 5 exams at the School! A real plus for making a difference in the workplace.
Students will have to take the necessary steps to find a host company, and their contract must be for 35 hours per week.
Of course, the School makes its network of companies available to everyone, but let’s not forget that at 42, you learn to search on your own, too.
The work-study program can be completed over 1 or 2 years:
- In this case, the student must have completed a 4- to 6-month internship prior to the start of the program.
- 2 years
Work-study programs include a company program, but also a period at the school: there are 600 hours of training to be completed at the school. The program consists of project-based work, using our peer-to-peer method, similar to the Core Curriculum.
The company assignments must, of course, focus on the student’s chosen specialty: web development, application development, mobile development, development, cybersecurity, AI/Data, or systems architecture. In all cases, the teaching team will be there to guide and validate that the company assignments correspond well to the preparation for the desired diploma.
